Gundog Journal – New for 2019!

Gundog Journal is Britain's only dedicated publication for anyone who works, owns or has an interest in gundogs. A quarterly journal of collectible-quality, it is a true celebration of man’s best friend in the field.

Each issue delivers a stunning journal of editorial features from the renowned publisher of Fieldsports Magazine. From expert training instruction to thought-provoking opinion and comment, it is a beautiful celebration of all things gundog.

Amongst its rich panoply of topical, informative and well-researched articles, readers will find invaluable gundog training advice, fascinating interviews with the top gundog trainers of our era, guidance on medical issues and nutrition plus art, photography and amusing anecdotes from the field – all presented in a clean and contemporary design.

With a commitment to quality, in a similar style to Fieldsports Magazine, Gundog Journal is printed on thick 110 gsm, sustainably-sourced, hand-selected paper. Using an elaborate sheet-fed print process, the pages will have best-in-class colour fidelity, contrast and sharpness to display award winning, world-class photography and features.

Gundog Journal is the second magazine in the UK country pursuits sector to be delivered in a recycled, recyclable cardboard box – Fieldsports Magazine being the first. Caring about the environment we work our dogs in matters deeply to the publisher Fieldsports Press Limited, who has turned its back on single-use polywrap plastic for distribution, most of which ends up in landfill.

The editorial team, publisher and contributors are as passionate about dogs as you and cannot wait to bring you this long overdue, highly anticipated publication.

We know you will enjoy it!
